Meet Jackie
Jackie is among our most active and lively members of The Sisters Enchanted Community. She is ever present in all our groups with her amazing photos and infections enthusiasm so we thought we’d find out more about how she experiences magic in her life and what our courses and community mean to her.
As far back as I can remember! As a child I was fascinated by (what I now know as) “The Liminal”, I’d spend hours throwing my teddy into a darkened room then scrambling around on all fours to find it just by sense & intuition, climbing on top of any furniture I could reach because I loved to see my familiar world “differently.” My real fascination with non-ordinary reality started after playing with an umbrella in a storm, the wind was so strong I just KNEW it was going to sweep me up off the ground and above the trees …and it did! The power of belief! My first (and only) out of body experience, around age 7 or 8!
At 14 I met a girl whose Mum was into Astrology. She told me that her Mum could tell peoples signs by the way they looked & walked. Oh, my days! I never forgot about that and knew that one day I would know how it was done! But boyfriends, school, then college/Uni and work got in the way of the Woo, and I became that “normal” (muggle) person, got a degree in Law, post-grad in Legal Practice then worked as a Tax Adviser for over 20 years.
Life changed in my 40’s when I gave up work to look after my Mum. I found The Sisters Enchanted on social media. I knew they my kinda Sisters! I just had to join them! I just knew that they were my way of reconnecting back to the magic I had inside me as a child! My vivid imagination was lit up once again!
I am part of Enchanted Journey, Holistic Witchery, Tarot Throwdown and the new Tarot Coach programs and I think nearly ALL the smaller courses too! I wanted to absorb ALL THE MAGICAL GOODNESS! 🙂 ALL OF IT! ;)) ALL. OF. IT!!
I LOVE this Community! I LOVE the Sisters! I LOVE the way they make magic REAL…and DO-ABLE! I LOVE the variety, every single thing about it totally resonates with me! It’s a happy place, where you can do magic in your PJ’s and still feel like a High Priestess! I feel like I’m home! If I go quiet from time to time (when life gets in the way), even if it’s been a few months, the minute I click back on the Facebook site I feel I’d never been away (& I’ve always been welcomed back with huge smiles & happy emojis)! The classes are amazing, exciting, fun and conveyed at a level where we are ALL smart enough to quickly & easily get our Magic on! No fancy schmansy rules & tools required! I’m pretty sure I’ll still be following in my 90’s! 😉
We asked Jackie to give us a pro tip for anyone feeling they are lacking magic…
Just hop onto TSE and choose ANY topic that might float your magical boat, from kitchen witchery to candle magic, to Tarot…to whatever! Then do a search…They will have a class on it! You CANNOT lack magic when you belong to this group, the magical vibe is in your bones! And handy hints, tips, magical goodness and new things to discover are always there at the touch of a button!

I LOVE LIFE! …I am a total Astrology geek! …I prefer nerding out with a webinar to eating in a fancy restaurant! …I love anything creative. Photography is a huge passion! …I run Craft Fairs twice a year
in my local Village, along with two (pretty defunct) Facebook Pages “Natty Jack’s Photography” and “The Pendulum Parlour” (I don’t post to them now, my life lives on my personal page & I’m always happy to accept friend requests from likeminded Souls)…I hand drum in a Samba Band, which satisfies something primal that needs to be satisfied in me! …Oh, and I would much prefer to live on a Commune in the Trees than in a house with mod-cons!
