Intuition is the ability to understand something immediately, without the need for conscious reasoning.
The process of spiraling through intention setting, active integration, insightful reflection, and ideating the future is what allows us to expand our intuition.
Learning to trust one’s intuition (and clearly see the misteps that occur from not trusting it) is not easy for everyone. Some find it so, so challenging.
Divination exercises can help with learning to hear one’s intuition though the most effective way to do this is by spiraling through the four keys that were mentioned earlier.
Using tarot for guidance, observing symbols in the clouds, or just closing your eyes and listening for the next best step are all ways to strengthen one’s intuitive prowess using divination.
One pitfall that I see people fall into when using divination tools to enhance or practice intuition is in looking for the tool to provide the answers.
Tarot won’t provide you answers anymore than walking into a wall will. It’s the thoughts that you think, the way that you relate to the tarot, the gut reaction you have and message received when looking at the cards that provides the answer.
The clearest path to living an intuitively led life is through learning to set intentions, integrating them into your being, doing the work of insightful reflection, and ideating your future rather than just wishing it were different. As you strengthen your abilities in these areas, your intuition naturally strengthens as you learn to trust yourself.
Divination tools are the icing on the cake that make everything just a little more fun and magical.
Thank you for clarifying about clouds & more understanding
I loved “Magic Week.” I especially liked the notes for the daily podcast being available. Usually, I’m so busy writing everything down, that I don’t really hear what’s being said.
