Witch. It’s a word that carries weight.
Throughout history, the archetype of the witch has been distorted into something to be feared or shamed. Whether it’s the image of the cackling old hag or the seductive temptress, witches have been cast as outcasts, deviants, or even threats.
But in truth, the energy of the witch is one of power, wisdom, and transformation. It’s an energy that many women—especially those at a crossroads in their lives—are now reclaiming. And what better way to start than by looking at Black Moon Lilith in your astrology chart?
Lilith, in mythology, was the woman who refused to submit. She walked away from what didn’t serve her, even if it meant walking alone.
In astrology, Black Moon Lilith represents this same energy in your personal life—the part of you that refuses to be silenced or minimized, even if it makes others uncomfortable. And here’s the truth, friends: embracing your Black Moon Lilith placement is key to becoming unashamed, unbound, and utterly you.
For me, learning that my Black Moon Lilith is in the 11th house in Taurus was eye-opening. The 11th house governs (among other things) friendships, communities, and fitting in. Taurus craves security and acceptance.
But what I came to realize was that my true power comes from releasing the need to fit in, to be accepted by everyone, to keep myself small so that others wouldn’t feel uncomfortable. In fact, I had to shed the skin of societal expectations to truly step into my full, magical self.
The moment I let go of that constant need for external validation—when I stopped conforming to feel comfortable in a group—I felt more alive and connected to my inner magic. It wasn’t about being accepted anymore; it was about being authentically me and honoring the witch within who refuses to be tamed.
My intention for this year was to be unflinching (actually it was, “don’t fucking flinch”). And, I chose that after divining into my Lilith placement this time last year.
Now, let’s talk about why this work is so perfectly aligned with the energy of Scorpio season and Halloween. Scorpio is the sign of transformation, depth, and uncovering the hidden. During Scorpio season, we are invited to dive deep into the shadows, to unearth the parts of ourselves we’ve hidden away out of fear or shame, and to bring them into the light. And with Halloween—Samhain—marking the shift into the darkest half of the year, we are standing at the threshold of immense power.
This time of year, we also connect with the energy of our ancestors, the women who walked before us and laid down the spiritual pathways we now explore. We honor those who were silenced, shamed, and persecuted, knowing that their strength courses through our veins.
When we tap into that ancient power, we transform our fear into empowerment. We let Scorpio’s transformative energy guide us as we step into our own unapologetic witchiness.
Witch stereotypes are everywhere—whether it’s the Hollywood portrayal of witches as either dark, evil beings or whimsical women with wands. But here at The Sisters Enchanted, we know that witchery is so much deeper than these caricatures. It’s about reclaiming power, healing, and living life on your own terms.
TSE Witch: We pull witch energy from those who were made powerless by society. We believe in witchery as a way of life, a form of reclaiming one’s personal power, and a portal to inner peace and outer confidence. We KNOW that you were born magic and are your most potent tool.
Other Witches: Follow witchery as a prescriptive religion and source power from external tools (like crystals and tarot) BEFORE sourcing their own inner power. They trust the outer before they trust the inner.
Here’s the thing, y’all: we aren’t for everyone, and we’re okay with that.
We’re for the women at a crossroads, ready to take that first, terrifying, exhilarating step down the path of self-discovery and transformation.
We’re for women who want to feel confident in themselves, who see tarot, crystals, and rituals as tools to enhance their energy—not define it.
We’re for those who seek to live with intention and vitality, who know that the real magic starts from within.
As we move deeper toward the dark half of the year, take this time to reflect on where you feel bound—whether by stereotypes, societal expectations, or even your own fear.
Use the power of Black Moon Lilith, Scorpio season, and Samhain to set an intention for how you want to feel as you step into dark months. And remember: becoming unbound is the key to reclaiming your power, and when you do, you become the witchy woman who radiates both inner peace and outer confidence. ✨
Let’s break the mold, reclaim our power, and live our magic unapologetically. The witch inside you is ready. Are you?
