Be Focused!

This is a big week of change, but it is a bit of a ‘hold onto your hats’ week. There is a lot of rebellious, erratic and impulsive energy around this week and if you don’t harness and focus it on your goals with discipline and intent, you may find yourself bringing about an unwelcome change or event into your life.

Moon Conjunct Neptune in Pisces: Take Some Time in Your Imagination

You may feel a bit dreamy and passive on Sunday as the Pisces Moon is in Conjunction with Neptune in Pisces, its own sign. This conjunction urges you to escape the limits and stresses of your feelings and experiences in the physical world through your imagination, your ideals and your spirituality. This week is going to get a little intense and challenging so it is a good idea to take some time in this energy and create some space in your home and in your mind that you can come back to if you need to escape any pressure in the days ahead.  This is a great day to explore your imagination, especially getting into your unconscious imagination. Art and journaling or using Tarot and Oracle cards are good tools for this.

Sunday’s Pisces Moon is also Sextile to Pluto in Capricorn. This could bring profound emotional responses and a strong urge to use anything you learn about yourself, maybe through exploring your imagination, towards deep, lasting transformation.

Jupiter Square Uranus: A Change of Direction…Proceed with Care!

Jupiter began Squaring Uranus on December 23rd and the planet of expansion and opportunity and the rebellious planet of innovation and change will be here until February 9th. The last Jupiter Uranus Square happened in 2014 and the planets will not enter this challenging aspect again until 2026.  This week starts with the two planets in an exact square, on 17th January so we will be feeling this most intensely around this day, certainly through all of this week.

This Jupiter Uranus Square brings us a strong urge to rebel against and break free from restrictions and brings us, and the world, a change in direction! This is an important moment in the New Age of Aquarius establishing itself!

This is an interesting and important aspect this week for the world for political and social events and mounting Covid restrictions. On a mass scale, there are many wanting to rebel and to be independent of laws holding them back. We may see some of this energy coming to the surface again this week.

You may also become acutely aware of areas in your life in which you feel restricted and contained in some way, with a sudden urge to break free. This energy is fantastic for exploring new possibilities and opportunities, but it is important to proceed with caution!

Uranus brings about sudden, unexpected changes and Jupiter will blow any ideas you have about doing something rash up and could fill your mind with optimism.  This may lead you to make changes without really thinking them through and making sure you have the ability to follow-through. Be wary not to burn any bridges or take any big leaps that you will not be able to take back without giving it a lot of thought. It may also lead you into seeing opportunities for making changes all over the place and spreading yourself and your resources too thinly to be able to see any of them through. Don’t jump into too many new things right now!

This aspect will bring exciting new opportunities. Open your mind to new projects, new ideas and new innovative ways to look at things. Don’t let restlessness lead you to make change for change’s sake. With Jupiter in Aquarius and Uranus in Taurus, be guided to choose ideas and projects that align with your values and that will bring changes for the good of all. Choose which new paths to follow and which risks to take with great consideration and beware of impulsive, erratic and extravagant behaviour that could lead to loss.

Mars Conjunct Uranus: Focus Your Energy

Mars joins Uranus in a conjunction on 20th January that will last until the 23rd. This will further increase the urge to break out of limiting situations and look for exciting change. These three days carry a great risk of us being impulsive, rebellious and wanting to break rules. Be careful not to bring about any unwanted changes or surprises that could upset your life! If you have chosen a new path change that will serve you and society well, then you can harness this energy to drive you to get going.

You may feel like taking risks, but this is not that time. Keep a particular goal in mind, this could be the intention you set at last week’s New Moon or a

new path you have decided to take when working with the Jupiter Square Uranus energy. There is a narrow path during these three days between recklessness and a missed opportunity, so keep your mind open, be watchful but be careful and disciplined. Use your self-control to direct the passion and desire this conjunction brings you on this one, clear goal. There will be a lot of erratic energy around and the more you can direct into your goal the more you reduce the risk of unexpected changes and events happening to you.

Mars Square Jupiter on 25th January, giving you increased energy and initiative to start new projects and new goals. Now you can take some calculated risks in order to scale-up your ideas and bring more abundance into your life, into the lives of others and to make the world a better place.

The Sun Enters Aquarius

The Sun joins Mercury, Jupiter and Saturn in Aquarius on January 19th.  This brings a spotlight on this year’s theme of innovation and change for the benefit of each other, society and the world. This is a time to be encouraged that the future is taking shape in the present. The seeds of change are being sewn – have you got any of your own to put into the ground to grow and nurture through the year?  Through the next four weeks, focus your thoughts on the ways and means in which your own, personal dreams can be manifested, and how they bring about benefits for others?
