‘Tis September 29 and basically October so also basically Halloween.

Just kidding, kind of.

With pumpkin-spice-everything the love language of the season and big box stores full of kitchy Halloween shirts and leggings with vampire fangs, witch hats, and spooky eyes, it’s only natural that we kick off all things All Hallows Eve here at The Sisters Enchanted!

With the Witches’ Thanksgiving just behind us here in the Northern Hemisphere, it’s time to start preparing for the Dark Months ahead.

In our modern world there isn’t much that we actually need to do to make sure that we survive the winter, but there is lots that we can do to take advantage of the spiritual space this provides us to prepare for a slower period of relfection.

Your task, should you choose to accept it, is to use the Tarot spread below and do a little reflection. Where are you forgetting to practice gratitude? Often, we are so immersed in expectation and a perfectly-perfect ending that we forget to practice gratitude for the small wins, the teeny tiny bits of progress, and the privileges that come hand in hand with modern society in a first world country.

Practicing gratitude for something that you want to be complaining about can be life changing. It’s hard work, my friend. But it’s always worth it.

Be sure to share your spread with us on social media and tag us so we can take a peek at your courageous and badass card pulls!

Happy beginning of the Halloween season to you and may the Harvest months bring you many blessings, opportunities for growth, and all the magic that life has to offer.

In love, light, and gratitude enchantment,

Sara
