Here in the world of magic making and witchy-ness we often hear a lot about the Goddess/God or source. It can really send you down a rabbit hole of trying to find what Deity’s energy calls to you.

Chances are you will dive deep into Mythology. Stories, and myths of other times. Mythology can be daunting, there are almost always many retelling’s of the same story portraying energies and “characters” different then the next making your head spin. It easy to get lost and confused about what is going on!

To me the simplest way to go is to research one deity at a time get a feel for their energy. Read their stories from more than one perspective. That way you can start to navigate what part of them feels right to you! For example on persons take on Thor may not be someone else’s, and that’s okay! We all carve out our own paths, and we all relate to some things in different ways!

Just be sure to go into it with an open mind and from a place of respect and understanding and finding the right energies and stories that resonate with you will come easy!
