Let’s talk about Mabon or the Autumnal Equinox!

Mabon is the final time that we see a celebration during the light half of the year. As we celebrate the harvest we begin to prepare for the cold months ahead and take measures to protect our abundance, health, and well being. Mabon occurs at the Autumnal Equinox and is the beginning of the fall season. Time to say hello to the dark and goodbye to the light.

This is a great time to:

  • Get together with friends or family for a Mabon dinner!
  • Eat seasonally and locally!
  • Enjoy the change of the season
  • Make an Autumn Wreath out of Oak Leaves
  • Make some apple pie!
  • Have a nice evening fire
  • Be thankful for the Harvest season
