         Why am I living this life? Why am I acting this way? Why don’t I have any hobbies? How did I get here?!

 

Who even am I?!

      Tarot is an extraordinary tool to break out when you find yourself questioning your identity or your very existence here in this lifetime. Here’s how to do it:

 

  1. Grab up your favorite Tarot or Oracle card deck. I recommend one with artwork that you enjoy. This exercise works well when you lead with your connection to the imagery rather than your need to ‘get it right’. 
  2. Get comfy cozy, grab a journal and a glass of water, and pull those cards out. 
  3. Start going through the deck and pull out any cards that resonate with how you feel or where you are in life right now. There’s no exact amount of cards to choose or anything like that. Just go with your gut and pull out those cards that speak to you at this moment. 
  4. Next, go back through and pull out some cards that speak to where you want to be, actions you want to be taking, or feelings you want to be feeling. Again, no specific amount of cards or anything like that! Just roll with it. 
  5. Look at the two sets of cards that you drew. You can now intuitively look at the story being told in each and see what you need to know about your now versus your future. Or, you can bust out the guidebook and dig into the meanings of the cards that you pulled and feel into the cards that way. 
  6. Journal, meditate, or just think on what you are seeing. Who are you now? Where/who do you want to be? Choose one small thing that you can do to feel more ‘you’ and start taking action on it.
