Astrology Forecast 11th – 17th April 2021
This is an exciting week of opportunities for big steps forward with your goals at the start of the week, honesty in your relationships, self-love, beautiful creation and some deep thinking at the close of the week. This really is a BIG week astrologically with some energies you really do not want to miss working with.
Monday April 12th: The New Moon in Aries touches on FIVE other planets!
This week kicks off with a New Moon in Aries. At the beginning of the year, I wrote in this blog that it was going to take us some time to get used to the new Age of Aquarius and to settle into this exciting energy of rebellion and change this year. If you have been feeling a bit scattered and unfocused about your plans, perhaps how to make some changes in your own ways thinking and doing things or just moving forward towards your goals then this is the week to change all of that. Last week, I suggested you used all the wonderful energy of clarity and momentum to choose one key intention to work on in this Lunar Cycle that will really see you moving forward in the direction you want to be going in. Today is the day to make that intention and make sure you really go for it!
This New Moon is super powerful because it happens as the Moon is in an aspect with five other planets, most of which are adding to this fiery ball to help us move forward with extra strong momentum.
The Moon is in Conjunction with the Aries Sun, meaning that the two planets at the centre of our personality are working together this day. This means you can combine your intuition and emotions with your creation and your vitality to move you even more powerfully forward in this fiery ‘go-getting’ energy.
Venus is also in Aries right now and is part of this Conjunction with the Sun and the Moon meaning that your strongest desires can come together into your intentions and plans right now.
The Moon is Sextile Mars, Aries own planet of wilful action and assertion, bringing even more strength to that Aries energy. Fiery Mars is currently in Gemini so be sure to bring some logic and communicative skills into your plans to move forward with your intention.
Mars is also Sextile to Jupiter, another fire planet, currently in Aquarius, expanding our will to think about things in new ways. This will bring opportunities, perhaps through seeing around some of the barriers you may have been facing in new ways.
The only hard aspect to this super strong New Moon is its Square with Pluto in Capricorn. This may bring secrets to the surface, causing intense emotions and perhaps some emotional conflicts. With Pluto in Capricorn, the tenacious and determined Mountain Goat, it may be the things are being surfaced for you could become blocks along the way of your goals if you don’t address them. If you do feel some difficult truths and emotions around this New Moon, be sure to do some shadow work and get these blocks out of the way before you get going working to bring your intention into being.

Wednesday April 14th: Venus enters Taurus – Time to love being you!
Venus enters its own earthy Taurus on Wednesday. This will help us all to connect to our feelings, especially about other people, and feel more able to respect these free of any self-doubt or guilt we may have been feeling.
This is a great time to enjoy being YOU, do the things you love, treat yourself to lots of self-care and SELF LOVE, hang out in nature, make music, art, poetry, anything artistic just for the sake of creating something beautiful.
Saturday April 17th: Mercury Square Pluto – An introspective end to the week.
While the first half of the week, under that fiery New Moon energy, is full of exciting and fast-moving energy, the week ends with a more reflective, inward intensity. Mercury Square Pluto brings depth of thought, introspection and a healthy, but strong, desire to uncover the truth. This is a great time to take a breather from all that forward momentum, take a look deep into yourself for some shadow-work or get stuck into deep intellectual study or research.
